🗂️ A faster, clearer, more accessible platform for managing nonresident tax profiles 😌
Here’s what’s new and how it helps your HR, payroll, and international office teams work with confidence.
In this article:
✅ Enhanced user experience (cleaner dashboard, quicker actions)
✅ Improved usability (streamlined Settings, smarter defaults)
✅ Full ADA compliance (accessible by design)
More dynamic user experience
We gave the dashboard a fresh, focused layout so you can see what matters at a glance: total users, completed records, missing info and more—right from the home screen.
The Actions menu now lives on the left for quicker access to user/vendor management, imports, and the tools you use every day.
Improved functionality in the Settings tab
We reorganized Settings into clear sections to match your workflow, with descriptive labels and grouped options:
• General Settings
Add descriptions per nonimmigrant status, enable tax-number preparation for specific users, set 1042-S payment frequency, and more.
• System & Security
Manage access to finance/admin data, customize System IDs, and choose to mask sensitive data in reports/exports and 1042-S forms.
• 1042-S Form Settings
Control preferences for import and transmission—centralized and easy to audit.
• ITIN Form Settings
Specify how ITIN documents are certified and add Responsible Persons for oversight.
• Individual Income Settings & Vendor Income Settings
Select income types you expect to pay to international visitors and vendors to guide withholding, reporting, and treaty checks.
• Tax Treaty Settings
Refine treaty preferences with flexible defaults that reflect your institutional policy.
• Document Settings
Customize e-signature approvals, required uploads, and document rules to match compliance needs.
What ADA compliance means for your team
“ADA” refers to the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design. We completed a full accessibility audit and updated the platform to be fully compliant—now compatible with leading screen readers, keyboard navigation, and clear semantic labeling.
Result: users with visual or motor impairments can navigate icons, menus, and text with accurate context, while everyone benefits from clearer hierarchy, contrast, and focus states.
